Gulf of Aden

I'm currently on assignment in the Gulf of Aden, near Yemen and Somalia, reporting from the Canadian Navy ship HMCS Fredericton. The ship is on a counter-terrorism mission in the region. I'm blogging about the experience. If you're interested, click here.

o can you explain to me why the NAVY, the UN, and LIBERAL groups are making ,it is such a big deal to shoot pirates???

Pirates are criminals, they don't follow laws or rules. If I am at sea I and my crew should be able to defend ourselves.

But If I shoot one I stand a chance of going to jail.

Such BS
