The Big Smoke

I never expected to like Toronto. To me, the chilly metropolis located thousands of kilometres away from my life in Vancouver was always home to that hockey team I hated, but not much more. After seven months here, I'm not quite smitten but I'm certainly intrigued.

Also, I'm a tad bit obsessed with Instagram on my iPhone. And Hipstomatic.

Jesse Ferreras's FF rec led me here...but trust me, it just keeps getting better. It took me a year or so to warm up - I'm also born and raised in Vancouver - but once I fell in love it was so over for going back west. My favourite part of Toronto: people actually a) have careers, and b) enjoy them!

Thanks, Max! I also like all the cheap food. But the humidity this summer might kill me. I miss B.C.'s dry heat.
